Xuegong's alkali-free adhesive series represents the next generation of corrugated board adhesives. By eliminating caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) from the formulation, these adhesives offer improved safety, reduced equipment corrosion, and better environmental performance.
Xuegong Group successfully developed alkali-free adhesive series that completely eliminates caustic soda — avoiding corrosion, eliminating pollution, being green and environmentally friendly, simplifying adhesive preparation, and saving costs. This was a disruptive technology that fully replaced traditional sodium silicate, leading the upgrade of China's packaging adhesive industry.
The series includes three specialized formulations: alkali-free laminating adhesive (for bonding liner to corrugated medium), alkali-free core adhesive (for bonding the core layer), and alkali-free facing adhesive (for the outer facing layer). Each product is optimized for its specific use case.
Alkali-free adhesives provide better storage stability and longer working life compared to traditional alkali-based formulations, reducing waste and improving production efficiency. They are compatible with both high-speed automatic lines and semi-automatic equipment.
