Boiler-Free Corrugated Board Production Line

Supplier: Anhui Xuegong

Room-temperature / low-temperature boiler-free corrugated board production line technology with flute-to-flute (peak-to-peak) board structure. Single facer speed up to 300+ m/min.

Product Overview

Xuegong's room/low-temperature boiler-free corrugated board production line technology represents a major breakthrough in the packaging industry. This innovative system eliminates the need for traditional steam boilers, significantly reducing energy consumption and operational costs. In 2017, our single facer achieved 300 m/min operating speed — internationally leading performance.

The technology is built on three core innovations: a matched instant-setting starch adhesive; room/low-temperature boiler-free corrugated board (carton) production line technology; and room/low-temperature boiler-free flute-to-flute corrugated board (carton) production line technology.

Building on its boiler-free line technology, Xuegong Group has introduced a major new corrugated board production technology — boiler-free flute-to-flute, peak-to-peak corrugated board technology — for which it holds a patent. This flute-to-flute production line can manufacture both five-ply board with a core layer and four-ply board without a core layer.

Four-ply board without a core layer: constructed as facing paper + corrugating medium + corrugating medium + liner, with no core layer in between. Its physical structure forms a diamond-to-triangle pattern, which is more structurally sound. This design significantly improves both flat crush resistance (FCT) and edge crush resistance (ECT) while resolving the long-standing warping problem in corrugated board.

Five-ply board with a core layer: constructed as facing paper + corrugating medium + core paper + corrugating medium + liner. The five-ply structure forms a triangle-to-triangle pattern. Although it does not save on core paper, the triangular geometry provides excellent stability, delivering superior flat crush and edge crush strength.

The all-in-one flute-to-flute boiler-free corrugating line can also function as a pre-print laminating line, capable of producing traditional 2 to 5 ply boards, 5-ply flute-to-flute boards with core layer, 4-ply flute-to-flute boards without core layer, and inline lamination of printed sheets.
