Product Overview
Kaixin’s gift-box line is rigid (set-up) packaging, not folding cartons. Boxes are formed from grey board, wrapped with printed or specialty paper, and ship already assembled. Do not mix this RFQ with a folding-carton RFQ—tooling, MOQ, and factories differ.
Common structures in the portfolio are drawer boxes, book-style boxes, and heaven-and-earth (lid-and-base) presentation packs for electronics, smart devices, and gift sets. Treat the cases as wrap, corner, and magnet references. Reorders need inner size, lid action, and insert drawings—not a photo alone.
Grey-board thickness (typically 1.5–3.0 mm class) sets rigidity, warp risk, and freight weight. Wrap stock may be laminated art paper or textured specialty paper. Magnets, ribbons, EVA/card inserts, foil, and emboss must be frozen with the structure. Lid/base caliper mismatch plus humidity is the usual cause of gap and twist after ocean freight.
Rigid-box production uses in-house paper-to-board mounting and two-piece auto forming, plus offset print on wrap sheets from KBA and Komori presses and foil stamping where specified. Approve wrap corners, lid gap, magnet alignment, and insert fit on a wrapped sample—not only a white dummy.
Sampling path: white/structure sample (fit and lid action) → wrapped print sample (color/finish) → pre-production when magnets, foil, or multi-part inserts are involved. Dies and magnet jigs make late size changes expensive; freeze geometry before wrap plates.
A comparable RFQ lists inner dimensions with product clearance, grey-board thickness, wrap family, print/finish map, magnet or ribbon hardware, insert material, sampling stages, monthly volume, outer shipper, and Incoterms. ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified production in Pinghu, Shenzhen.
